gt 750 L 1974

Post by legin101 »

Hi guys i have to sell my beloved gt750 on historic v5
it has
new stainless rims and spokes also tyres
wheel bearings
brake pistons and seals pads etc
master seal kit
fork internals replaced including head race sets
paintwork is mint
pipes are the originals and re chromed
cylinder pressure is around 110psi when last checked which is ideal
new gas tap
carb internals replaced and run really well
full chain set and new old stock dampers.
new battery, rectifier and all wiring checked for any problems
there is probably more but cant remember.
she runs really well starts as you would expect.
i will probably kick myself for parting with it but need the space.
things i would do eventually would be to polish the outer casings and the carb exteriors need brightening up other than that ride it
I am asking £7595.00 or very near offer.
if anyone is interested i will send photos.

Sounds like a nice bike you have there Legin and a reasonable price too, compared with some of the five figure kettles for sale. I'm just down the road from you in Grimsby and if I was looking for a bike I'd be down there like a shot, covid restrictions permitting of course. ;)
Good luck with your sale mate.
Regards Steve W.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".
