A mate of mine went over to France in the 80's and bought a patroller, fetched it back to the UK, rode it and fettled it for a few years and then sold it on, think it went to Germany. About 6 years ago a friend of mine in Japan sent me a photo of the Japanese T and GT owners club rally, with a row of about 50 kettles and other classic Suzuki's and at the front of the line up were 2 Patrollers. The photo was shown in the kettle club mag' and my UK mate saw it and Identified it as the one he'd owned. So a very well travelled bike, made in Japan, exported to the French police force, a while in the UK, then to Germany and then full circle back to Japan.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".
