Headlight glass unit

Post by Dutch »

Hi all, does anyone know of a replacement headlight unit which takes an halogen bulb, I have recently dropped mine on the garage floor and as smashed the glass.
There are many to chose from but I want to make sure it fits.
The one I purchased when I did my bike up was bought local and was fairly cheep and is available but in the states and they want £30 postage and will probably get stung for duty tax on top so don't want to go there.

I attach a photo of my broken one., thanks in advance.

Jeff

Hi Jeff, I had the same problem when a stone hit mine and cracked the lens, I bought a replacement off ebay and it was perfect. Just look for Lucas 7 inch headlight, or look at this one on ebay that I've just spotted, item number 294370579157, £25 plus a bit of P&P and it definitely takes a halogen bulb.
Hope this helps. :D
Cheers Steve Wharton.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".
