Returning member
Hi,my name is Paul and I was last on here back in 2011 under the name of Paul k, I owned a GT750L which I restored then sold a couple of years later and always regretted. I have had a few bikes since but have always missed the Kettle so I have decided to get another. With this in mind I have sold my Triumph 675 and my Triumph 21 is also for sale (still have a couple of RD250 yams to to keep me happy),although one may have to go depending on how much kettle costs. So the hunt is on for another GT750

Hi, be nice to know what you think of the site now, 11 years on.
I just sold an RD250LC, love the RDs and the forums, loads of people giving plenty of info, and loads of comments, its a bit here a lot of the time, I do wonder why so many people look at posts but say nothing, different type of people I suppose to the RD crowd.
Good luck with your search, hope you get what your looking for

The site seems to be the same as it was when last on it,if I remember right I always got replies to questions and nice comments when posting pics of the Kettle as it was being rebuilt.I go on the yam air cooled and the LC forums but not as a member usually end up there when I have a problem and use Google for search info. The only other forum I have been a member of was for the Fizzy.

Re: Returning member
Very Nice, I presume you had to modify the stand for it to fit with Delkevic pipes.

That's interesting, I looked at their pipes and it said you need to remove the main stand, I wondered how you got around that, but if they fit OK on your bike that's great

Nice bike. We had the same thing with a set of Jemco pipes. Everyone said the side stand had to be removed but the only conflict was the spring which rubs on the center pipe when it's raised or lowered.

You would think the manufacturer would know though aye, probably get more sales if stand does fit with pipes, one thing that puts me off aftermarket pipes, I thought only Allspeeds (Gibsons) retained the stand, but their prices are prohibitive, you can get some bare metal Delkevics for £600 new, a massive difference to Allspeeds and the Dyno for Delkevics shows a power gain too, highly unlikely with Allspeeds.
