Asked for the engine and frame numbers, so they sent me a shot of the V5, so both check out as 76 "A" model bits, shame about the pipes / forks etc.

Was going to pop over today, but they are busy, only one person in, and the bike hasn't any fuel in it anyway, and they haven't had time to buy any.

Finally got it started, sounded like a sack of spanners, left hand slide sticking, top end ticking away horribly, running rough. Might just need a good service and the carbs stripping and setting up, but decided its not for me, not at £8000 anyway.
