Did anyone other than Piper make those? Also, was the carb jetting severely compromised if one was fitted?

The piper I have ran fine on the 550K without carb rejetting. Bloody noisy, mind!

Back in the day, I have to say that I loved the sound of those Pipers. One of the best, along with an incredibly complicated Yoshimura 4 into 1 that a mate had on his Honda 400/4. Happy days!

I had one back int day on my Kettle, sounded good for the first few minutes then it got bloody annoying  it cut the top end off like running into a brick wall, 95mph and that was it. Awful thing but I couldn’t afford Allspeeds or standard and it was my only form of transport back then so I was stuck with it.

Dunstall body kit if I'm not mistaken.

Forgot to say how nice by CBX with a "modified" 6 into 1 sounded!

Not for sale - going on the Dunstall 550 rebuild.
