Whoever rebuilt the bike for you has done a pretty shabby job with all the trouble it’s given you. Have you tried getting a partial refund? I’d be well pi$$ed.

No-one rebuilt it for me, it's all the dopy twats that farted about with it in it's previous life.
Rebuilding a bike 46+ years old will always throw up issues - especially when it comes from a country several thousand miles away where people seemingly need to mess with stuff that didn't need messing with.
I should know better, I've done quite a few now, and most of them throw up problems no matter how careful the rebuild. Look at some of my other rebuilds - I do most of the fiddly stuff that ends up 'not quite' standard after several previous owners have had their 'play'.
Engine doesn't run right - wrong points cam for instance, who'da thunk it.
Fork inner parts incorrectly assembled/missing/slightly damaged.
Regulators 'adjusted' by a moron.
Oh, there's lots more.........

Giving myself a refund is out of the question.
