In search of Piston set

Post by Fritzer »

I have my J model engine with 34,000 miles on it completely dismantled and ready to start getting things together for reassembly.

One of the main things I will need is a set of new pistons. Any recommendations on where I might be able to purchase a quality full set?

I bought my set from cruzinimage (find them on eBay) and found them to be excellent, I read somewhere that they're made at the same factory that Suzuki uses. Less than £200 on eBay but possibly cheaper if you can buy them direct from their website.
Hope this helps.

Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Just looked on the cruzinimage website and they have standard size and all oversized sets at £112 + P&P.
P.S. could only find one oversized set on eBay.
