Hi all, need a new battery for my kettle, any recommendations. Had a Motobatt for the last 6ish years but think it's getting tired.
Thanks in advance.

Which battery
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales"
they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Re: Which battery
I've had about a dozen batteries from Tayna. If you fancy a change from Motobatt I've used their own brand, Powerline and found them fine. And half the price of Mottobatt

True, a very poor pensioner in fact and a very cold one too since Dick Starmer Turpin stole my winter fuel allowance

Re: Which battery
Now sorted with a new battery, fitted and starting the bike perfectly. Went for an Atom battery from MPW through eBay for £49.
Read plenty of reviews and decided that this battery had lots going for it especially with the 5 year warranty.
Thought about going for another Motobatt battery but at £80 thought again
One thing I did learn is, you shouldn't keep a battery on a trickle charger permanently, which is what I've done over the last six years. (Yes Alan and Richard, I know you have to disconnect it when you're on a ride
) The expert advice is to allow the battery to discharge slightly before charging, so before and after using the bike and then disconnect
Lesson over.
Let's hope the Atom battery lives up to the hype.

Or plug a timer in to supply the trickle charger for an hour a day.
