Serious suggestion - could aim to do it in 2011?

(ps: small prob of not having asked my better half might get in the way. Unless we do it when she's in Spain :-)))

Good news from Carole Nash today. After sending them a sheaf of receipts, tons of photos and a well worded letter, they have granted this bike an Agreed Value of a staggering £8300. Crikey.

just read the full resto mike , the bike looks fantastic ! well done , i was in the shed looking at mine tonight , removed the tank for a better look at the bodged loom etc ! it all looks a bit daunting all of a sudden ! not to worry i know where to get lots of good advice ! Andy

Mike; thumbing through thisd thread and noticed you using Maguires polish. where do you get it from please?
I've not come across it before; is it like solvol to use?
Very jealous of your bikes! they are just great.

The polishers polish is Meguiars NXT metal polish, you can get it from Halfords and other places, think blue pot with horrible green lid. Smells of something like bubblegum!

Thanks Mike; have found some in the local halfords;I hope it's good stuff as it's expensive at 8.9 for a small tin!
