Correct bars??

Can anyone tell me if there were American spec handlebars and uk spec bars? My 750 A is a uk bike but the bars look flatter than in any pictures or the brochure pics.

Yes, but even the UK ones were big.

I thought the uk bars were much flatter. Mine obviously can’t be standard then. That’s a bit of a bummer as I wanted every thing I did on the full resto to be standard. Mind you, if I find them ok and they look ok... Spose it doesn’t matter.

back in the day my gt380,gt550 and gt750 were fitted with the lower/flatter bars as std from new, the earlier bikes had the ape hangers,John
