Excited that i have recently acquired my first kettle,a 76A that had the engine rebuilt (lots of photos- in 2014) and covered less than 1000 miles before being taken off the road these last 7 years.Just put new starter clutch rollers and got the starter motor working well. I got her running and the engine sounds good if i keep the revs above 1500 but as the revs drop nearer 1000 there is a horrible crunching/clattering sound that appears to be coming from behind the gearbox sprocket. It lasts till the engine stalls or i give it a rev. I can select all gears and turns the wheel ok. Gearbox sprocket is good and tight.
All thoughts and ideas appreciated.

They all do that sir!!!
Clutch bearings are unhappy, but there will be others along with a cure soon.

Thanks for your reply Alan. I doubt they all sound like this. Don't know how to upload a video here so have posted one on the FB Suzuki Gt750 owners page if you get a chance. Cheers
