Suzuki bond no 3

Post by Mr Bonehead »

Hi ,just about to put the hose connector that sits in the starter motor space and the manual recommends Suzuki bond no 3 and a new washer ,I assume the washer is the crush type but can't seem to find the sealer on any sites just the normal black gasket stuff, any recommendations for alternative sealer ?,I have various in the shed including ones for plumbing in showers etc that are basically a water proof thread seal or could I use ptfe tape and a crush washer?,Not wanting to sound tight but at over £40 including delivery to France it's a bit steep if I've already got something on the shelf
Cheers Mr B

Suzuki Bond is the same as Honda Bond and Yama Bond. They are all made by 3Bond the same stuff that you used to seal the upper and lower crankcase. ;)

Hi Teazer, thanks for the reply,I'll try and source some in france as the postage from the UK after brexit costs nearly as much as the product ,
