Broken side panel tit

Post by PaulD738 »

My Z13 was fitted with a mint pair of airbox covers, however when I removed one of them I found one of the tits was missing. This was my solution.
1) find a suitable piece of nylon bar, black would have been better but I didn’t have any and you can’t see it when the cover is fitted to the bike
2) turn up a new tit with a disc big enough to support it when in place.
3) screw and glue in place
4) stand back and admire while counting the cost (zilch)
