Well after a full two years of staying safe, I've finally succumbed to the dreaded COVID-19. Started with a slight sore throat last night (but none of the main symptoms) so did a rapid lateral flow test this morning and there it was, two bars on the test cassette. Now booked in for the more accurate PCR test later this morning and then the 5 to 10 days of isolation :(
I don't feel too bad though, so very pleased that I've had all three vaccinations. Let's hope that things have got a lot better for our rally in June and for the start of bike nights, but don't think it's gone away yet.
Cheers all, Steve W.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Thought having COVID was bad, but now Mrs W's caught it off me, I'm really gonna suffer

It could have been worse, it could have been one of us......
Kidding apart, get well soon Steve and give your better half a cuddle for me.
Don't worry, I'll not charge you for it. ;)

She won't let me near her, says I'm a super spreader since I've given it to half the family. Tested my first negative in 10 days today, so should get out on the bike soon if the sun's shining :D

Well, I think Paul has a better chance of getting to the Ponderosa than I will, due to the torn calf muscle still not right.
Might get to Squires on Sunday if the weather's ok though.
