New Guy, 1st project 👍🏻

Here you can post a picture of you and your bike. Also where you are located and if you are prepared to give local kettle owners some of your time and experience. Please don't do discussions here just some facts about yourself. This was Glens idea! Thanks BAZ

New Guy, 1st project 👍🏻

Post by Wakey »

Hey all, like to introduce myself, my name is Joe

like it says it’s my 1st project and I have a GT250, got it in a box so all I got was the frame, engine, tank, wheels, discs, clocks and carbs.
Basically I’m wanting to go down the flat tracker route but on the road and already ordered most parts but 2 I am struggling to find is

Front forks - is there any other that fit the yokes as I keep seeing loads of 380 ones

And the other is exhaust does anyone recommend one?

Thanks in advance and sorry if it’s in wrong place

Hi Joe and welcome
Disc's as in 2 your gonna need something special if you are going to use both ;) suggest a single disc is adequate for a GT250.
Ain't that back wheel in arse about too :?
Anyhow good luck with the project loads of knowledge on here.

It was how I picked it up off the floor as I was Just throwing the wheel in to see how it looked with seat unit on 😂 and I was tempted to change forks to run duel discs like the rgv250 possibly but never done a swop, reason for asking about the 380 forks for a safe option also am a Yorkshire lad
