Hi guys,
How often do you check your Timing? My Haynes manual says every 2000 miles and mine hasn't been checking since my restoration in 2012 and I've done 10,000 miles since then.
I know if I do need to check it I'll need a Dial Gauge which I intend purchasing but my Kettle is running well so would you leave well alone?
Thanks in advance
Jeff

Re: Ignition Timing
Hi Jeff, My T500 has not had the points touched in the last 10 years and many thousands of miles and it runs like a swiss clock. If it aint broke dont fix it. PS my kettle has electronic ignition so i dont touch that either.Dutch wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 11:06 am Hi guys,

Re: Ignition Timing
Thanks Richard, I'll still invest in a dial gauge as I'll need one someday and would like to do it anyway.
Cheers pal
