calling it a day.

Post by johnakay »

current making some Sissy Bar and racks with what materials I have left.
enough roughly about 35 pieces,
these will be my last ever, been making these for nearly 20 years.
an end of an era as my wife and son says, lol
selling all my gear off,got a buyer but he wont be making Sissy Bar to sell.
he'll mainly be working on GT750 as well as others.
he does restorations on the 750 two strokes.
also I'm selling my T500 as well.
I'm done with these old bikes.
anyway you lot take care and keep the rubber side down.
If I wanted to make a life-long career out of
working with the mentally retarded I would
have opened a Harley Davidson Dealership

That's a shame John, I still have one of your Z650 Sissy Bar on mine - they change hands at ddaft money now due to their scarcity.

r Z650 Sissy Bar on mine - they change hands at ddaft money now due to their scarcity.

there was 2 guys making them a few years ago.
one in the USA and the other UK.
thats why I stop making them at the time.
tired of dealing with certain members inc public of wanting them cheaper.
just because your or they're forum members they want for half price or less.
its a piece of bent tubing..well make your own.
few have tried to but can never make them like the originals ..shape that is.
I couldn't get 18mm tubing so it was either 16mm or 19mm so I went for 19mm.
I'm currently finnishing of of what I have left.
just made 5rails and making 4 racks for the gt750(same for the 550),510 x t500,8 x 250.
thats all my tubes used up and gear sold off.
