GT550 stud bolts

Post by tato81 »

I need stud bolts for barrels and heads. I have GT 550 with schneurle ports (NIKASIL). What is the number of these parts? Where can I buy them?

Have a look at - https://alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm - click year, model, cylinder, for part numbers. I don't have a full set, but what do you actually need? Cylinder base and head nuts are cheap on ebay.

I am currently looking for two long stud bolts. But my mechanic want a new set stud bolt. He also doesn't like the gearbox components;

On ebay i see only short stud bolts. Alpha-sports doesn't show number these long ones either

Right, I've finally had chance to look at this one.
Head studs are 01421-10458
Iron barrels base studs -12 (and front Nikasil barrel studs - 6) are 01421-10258
Nikasil rear barrel studs - (6) are 01421-10608 also used on RM250 engines and some Suzuki outboards as part number 01421-1060A.
classicsuzukiparts.nl have some.

Unfortunately, all my gearbox parts are at Baz's.

I managed to find something at Marcel Vlaandere. He has to send me pictures this parts. I also need to replace the oil seal number 29 (parts 09283-25050). My old oil seal is 25x65x7 and the service says 25x62x7 WTF :cry:

Thank's Alan_H and canaletto5 for your help with stud bolts ;) without your help, I couldn't have done anything
