Now the last time I resto'd a 550, I said 'never again' (and the time before !) but I've been offered another project with extra 'stuff' and I have a refurbed crank already done, plus a Dunstall kit stashed, and enough 'stuff' to do it different, so there just might be a chance I'll do a 'last 550 resto again'.
Hmmm, should I, or shouldn't I? And what do I call it if I 'do'.
1st K, 'slow starting' because it took ages to do - I was still working...
2nd A, Earwig - 'Erewigoagain'.... still in the garage and ridden regularly.
3rd J, - Yeti - Yetanother550'... as above.
4th B, - Anna - Annanother550'.. newest acquisition (still being tweaked).
5th M?, - Lastun? - last refurb? Hmmmm?!?!

How about Neve, as in Neve-r again

No question that it needs to be a balls to the wall full on Dunstall custom. You have done every variety of stock or almost stock or nearly stock. Time for something more radical. Ported, chambers, high compression, big brake (light, modern disk) custom.

Something that comes close to scaring or scarring you every time you ride it. A thrill ride that leaves you shaking and wondering about your own sanity, and begging for more.
