Not sure Mick - the GT500 one just has one red/green wire and an earth so I'm hoping it will work OK with a bit of nodding

Finally got round to a bit more investigative work - changed the rectifier for one of Alan's and plumbed in the two wire Gt500 regulator and bingo we are making power again 14.4 volts at 4k revs an just over 12 volts on tickover - result :)
