Hi folks,
Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I've done a search but not found what I'm looking for.
Can anyone recommend a suitable carb cleaner for use in an ultrasonic cleaner please? The carbs are very gummed up, no idea what the transfer tubes are like, but I suspect the worse.
I've completely stripped the carbs, have a refurb kit, the idea being to clean them internally and rebuild with new jets etc.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Ultrasonic cleaning
Hi
Most ultrasonic cleaning fluids are comparable. You will see many people saying lemon juice and vinegar mixed with water but my advice is not to do that. Carbs are made from an alloy that will become pock marked if anything acidic is used
Dont ask me how i know this
