750k Petrol tap.

Hi all. I'm having a mare with my vacuum tap. I've stripped, cleaned and reassembled it. When trying it from a slave tank. At prime, nothing happens, at reserve nothing happens due to no connection so that's obvious. At On and sucking on tube to activate vacuum it let's fuel thru but also out of the small air vent hole in the back?. Anyone had this or know why/where I'm going wrong. Or is this normal, but when running it doesn't!. Hope this makes sense. This is doing my head in!!!!!

Hi Barney. Yeah thanks for that. I've watched that earlier but it doesn't help with my problem. It is strange that on the video he doesn't have the small o ring over the little vent hole,which mine does. Also the centre plastic piece has a hole which isn't lined up with this either. Still abit stuck really. Cheers Nick

Some more info on your tap. The photo shows what the holes do. You can seal the vacuum feed off so you just get an 'on' and 'off'
