The oil in the feed pipes is not under great pressure even at high revs. However the ' hanging up' procedure is just to test the valve shut off integrity. The answer would be found if you could borrow a set to see if that cures the problem.

Humm I might have to bite the bullet and get another set but any available may be as US as mine
I might just buy a length of Tygon and make some more what have I got to loose?

Hi again I took the lines off blocked off each banjo in turn and with a syringe pushed oil up inside, no leaking from any of the plastic lines or banjo unions.
