Lynn says she wants to 'do' Wales next year with the caravan.
Wonder if she'd notice there was a bunch of smoky reprobates in the same pub?
Hmmm. I see the formation of a a cunning stunt. (That's not rude Baz, honest!!!)

Hi Gents,

Just had Ray Sunners put his name down for the Kettle Clinick Rally. Don't forget that the hotel is only holding the rooms until the end of February. Any rooms left over will then be released to the general public. I will be able to give more details around the second week in February and update the forum then. I've also had some prices back for Kettle clinick T shirts but I will need to know how many people want them.

Regards

Martin

I don't wanna loiter within your tent Al, but stick my tent next to yer caravan, ya wassak.

I find the idea of a rally where everyone is staying in different hotels and B&B's a bit alien, a rally (for me,) is loading up your wheels with a tent and some beer and meat (to throw on the BBQ,) and in the morning sticking your head out of said tent, and squinting at your dew covered bike thinkin', "christ, I need a p iss," but doing this on my own will be a sad and lonely business and may well lead to some deep psychological problems, and believe me, I don't need any more of those. ;-)

+1 on that, if you are camping, I'll see if I can con a couple of the boys to come up with me and pitch close by so you are not on ya own, but not within pi**ing distance in case you forget in the morning.

Seeing your piccies reminds me when I use to go away and how I go away now with the family, car boot filled up, kids on the back seat barely visible as covered with bags of essentials stuff, where use to be able to go away for two to three times longer, only had sleeping bag and a few things in a backpac and all fitted on the bike with room for the beer.

Times have changed.

I've done a fair few rallies in my time, and there is a certain appeal to camping in a field full of bikes

And there's the rub - It's good to be involved in any type of bike rally nowadays, and I think the guys have done a great job finding this fairly priced hotel in a very popular area to organise the Kettle Clinick meet, with all the local amenities to hand, giving everybody a choice of how they want to stay. We've got mobiles to keep tabs of each other for meeting up and I'm looking forward to it......
