A friend of mine has a GT750A in grey and swears it is the original colour , i thought the A model only came in blue or orange if this is correct
could it have been an import ? .

Re: GT750A ( original Grey ? )
The only grey I can remember is jewel metallic grey, but then again, I can't remember what I did yesterday.
But think that was used on an 'M' not sure if his bike could be a 'M' registered late as an A, but tank flap would be different so obvious if not a real 'A' ?????

That Jewel Grey A looks v nice. There's one on display at Robinsons Canterbury too. Personally though, I find it too underspoken a colour for a Kettle. Why have a bike from the late glam era and have it in grey? :-)

Re: GT750A ( original Grey ? )
Oh crikey, Here's mine when it's not blue, I reckon the colour compliments the motor casings when they've been polished, each to their own hu.
It's a 1976 Renault colour,Ellysee grey, like I had on my original kettle back in the day.
Don't take the P outta my Simon Cowell trousers, they were my waterproof Belstaff trousers, and as you can imagine, very comfortable.
I thought the Jewel grey was on the previous year and was a lot lighter, I'd be interested to know what colour the kettle clubs bike is as it looks the same as mine, but it's pretty unlikely his is a Renault colour too aint it. !!
