Hi Everyone,
Just an update, thought it was a noisey day but unfortunatly its a 105db day. With aftermarket pipes our bkes often fail the noise test. This is because the testers are told for specific engines the rider must rev his bike to, then they stand a meter behind and take a measurement. Our bikes are 5k rpm. Smack in the middle of the power band, bloomin noisey!
I have asked the organisers to ask Mallory sound testers to lower this rpm test to say 3500rpm, they will get back to me in the next few days. Dont want to pay 130 pound and fail this test not to get on. Have loaded a application for my phone and will run some tests ie tick over, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6krpm.
Will let you all know how i get on.

Happy Easter too all.
Hope you all put your clocks forward today!!!
Just a update on this track day thing. The organisers rang me and told me to ACU regs for over 500cc classics its 4000rpm and 1 meter behind with the noise testers decision to be final.
With this weather so cold im going to book on the next weekend(5/6th april). They also said there was plenty of room at the moment, i wonder why???.
Will keep you all posted on any futher actions. Off to the Bridgenorth Quatt cafe for noon, Cheers Barry, he said he was buying the tea's, Yeh right???????????

Well Hello all,
Well it was wet in the morning but fully dry for the last two hours. Passed the 105db limit, just. I think the noise tester liked two stroke bikes.104.8 at 4500, phew!!!.
Bike did not blow up. Clocked 114 mph down the start straight slowing down to 60 around Gerrards 180 right hander that feels like its never going to end. Handled fantastic, no wobbles like the kawasaki boys, even in the wet morning runs!
Was told by three people that it was the best sounding bike of the day. Will shrink some photos and attach soon.

Ade,
Sounds brilliant - shame you can't attach a sound clip also!?
114mph.... crikey...on a Kettle.
I was briefly at 90-something yesterday and that felt fast enough. Mind you, the old girl (standard) still had plenty to give (Ray did a good job on 'my' motor rebuild!)
Cheers,
Mike
