"Motorcycle mechanics" Sept 1997 - Sorting the water pump. No Excuses for not doing it now.

Looks a bit complificated, all this new fangled liquid cooling stuff.
Wossamarrer with good old air cooling and a pretty Ram air cowl anyway?

Hi Alan,I KNOW you secretly want one...! It's only another 41+ pounds heavier ?
& you can warm your hands on the radiator in Winter ?

Any radiator I'll be warming hands on in winter won't be on a bike.

I must say, having scanned through this article on 'water pumps made easy' I fancy changing mine even less :-))

ps: if you need a winter warmer, try a GSX1400. The lump is so big it heats my whole garage while cooling down in the after a winter ride! In the summer I have to keep my knees off the heads as they get fried (I'm on the tall side).
