Thanks Paul, Everywhere you look there is beautiful scenery in western Canada and the northwestern United States. The Kettle Clinic guys should get a small group together and do some riding out this way one summer.
I know Ian Beardsley has done some riding on Hwy 66 and now hes smitten with the riding North America bug.
If you base your group out of Calgary, thats a great place to start out your bike touring from. If you come out in August I'll hook up with the group and show you all the places.
Also if you use AirBnB for accomodations which is very reasonable, and book the bikes in advance you'll only need to bring your touring gear.
Here are a few more random photos and some more videos.

Re: PUT YOUR VIDEO CLIPS HERE!
There is snow on the much higher elevations, but on average its about 70F in the summer in the valleys etc. You could spend a lifetime riding all the roads and never see everything, thats a given.

Re: PUT YOUR VIDEO CLIPS HERE!
This was the video series where the Buffalo blew the left inner crank seal; and its just gone south in this first video. The whole centre section of the seal was missing when I stripped the crank out later, only the metal support section was left. I found bits of the seal spring imbedded in the left piston crown, yet the bike still ran somehow. It was a pig to get going and bogged with no power under 3500 rpms, but I nursed it and got it around the 120 mile loop and back home safely.
Watch the tach to see just how it was ridden, mostly in third gear, and the half hearted speeds attained to nurse it back home without draining the tank of gas faster than need be. Yes it still ran out of fuel and then the battery died and I had to push it, but with some help I reached a gas station about half mile away to then make the return journey home.
Its a pity I did not get to do the photos and videos of this areas scenery which was planned for this set of videos
Its time to go back and redo the whole thing again this summer with a working bike. Check the view in the second video at around 1:30 minutes, these two videos are pretty crappy and do nothing for the sheer beauty of the place, thats why I need to go back and do it right.

In South Dakota is a vast region called Buffalo Gap National Grasslands, here is an unedited video showing a very small portion of it.

Youtube vids are good, but can't watch the faceiron ones as I don't 'do' that Allan.
Proof that four strokes are over complicated

In the area of Glacier National Park onto Rogers Pass through Golden and east onto Field on the Trans Canada Highway, British Columbia. I took these in the summer of 2016 while on two back to back tours into British Columbia. A perfect day with minimal clouds and a perfect blue sky.
