Riding in the rain is not much fun, and much worse when on a tour where you can be in it all day. Heres some miserable rainy days I took while on bike tours.

Well I’ll put money on you being one of the most travelled motorcyclists on the planet Alan.
Makes my total of 1200 miles between mot’s look a bit pathetic

Re: PUT YOUR VIDEO CLIPS HERE!
Nah Im just a baby when it comes to miles logged, however I'm probably one of the few who travels far by air or road just to ride specific regions.
Every year I go to Deals Gap, sometimes twice. Driving time from Miami to Deals Gap is 13 hours and approx 900 miles.
Every summer I go to western Canada, flying time including intransit times and three planes averages 23 hours and 6000 miles.
Places I've visited regularly so far by bike are South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington state, Alberta and British Columbia.
States passed through during this summers trip from Calgary Canada to Florida USA were Alberta, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Lousiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida. A grand total of approx 3000 miles in 8 days.
Compared to a friend of mine whos logged serious miles on many bikes, his total touring miles for GT750s alone is around 300,000 miles.
For me I dont 'feel' I've ridden anywhere until I've burnt out my first tank of fuel.
Out in the western USA and Canada distances are a way of life, 500 miles is nothing to do during a normal days ride.
The most I've done is a bit over 1000 miles in under 24 hours, my plan for 2018 is to do a 'saddle sore 1000' just to get the certificate from the iron butt association.

Re: PUT YOUR VIDEO CLIPS HERE!
Well, I keep visiting places, but the Atlantic and Pacific are quite big, so my travelling has to be by air mainly.
Managed to meet Roger in Adelaide and Allan in Barbados a couple of times - we'll have to see what the next few years bring - otherwise it's UK and that foreign 'local' country - Europe.

Nice scenery, must get a helmet cam soon (ish.........)
The weather in Scotland is currently sunny just north of Glasgow near Loch Lomond and Dunoon areas. Back home soon, then back up with a 5.8 metre RIB for some scuba fun at month end!!
