No they are for the Hippo and I've ordered 5x8x20mm. Can't remember what I got for the 550, but I would think they are similar. They'll need making fit when they land.

New brushes soldered into the housing and remantled, started and charging like a good'un.
All lights reconnected, but raining , so will go for a run 'soon'.
Just sort the bloody 2t leak out now, but I think the carbs will have to come off for that.
Nowt straightforward is there?

Well, I've used most of the swearwords I know and the leak is still there, plus I reckon there's a bit of piston rattle, so BH is off to Baz's next week on the 'refreshed' trailer for a good looking at and stern talking to by the Dudley Kettle King.
Starts easy and runs/handles ok. but....... :|
Now before Paul or the Bimbo from Grimbo chip in, I'm not bad on air cooled triples, but Baz is the man on the big 'un, so I'm sure he'll sort it better than I could. Plus, I don't have much in the way of 750 spares. :tw

What to do then? Well the GS will be sold and will I still need a Hippo to tour on or something completely different?
I do like the bike and it's a 2 stroke triple, but it's bl00dy heavy to shove in & out of the garage......
But it might be time for a change. Hmmmm?!?!?! :?
